Are you sitting on a film idea that’s burning to come alive, or a script that needs direction to move forward? IGNITE YOUR STORY is a hands-on, story-first intensive designed for writers and directors who are ready to sharpen their creative vision and bring their projects to life.
This immersive 3-day experience helps filmmakers reconnect with their voice, clarify the core of their story, and explore it through a director’s lens. Each day builds on the last, guiding participants from concept to a clear visual and narrative roadmap for their work.
DAY ONE: Your Story, Your Vision
Introductions & group connection
Explore the heart of your project and your personal “why”
Unpack your Director’s Vision and unique point of view
DAY TWO: Structure, Stakes, and Storytelling Tools
Dissect key story elements and explore various development frameworks
(Save the Cat, Story Wheel, Hero’s Journey / Heroine’s Journey)Learn how to outline your project effectively
Discuss the power of conflict and how it drives plot and character
Gain access to key resources to structure your story with purpose
DAY THREE: Visual Language & Project Breakthroughs
Discover how to articulate tone, mood, and cinematic style
Pull references and create a visual language for your project
Workshop the “problem area” in your current project

I’m passionate about helping filmmakers get closer to the heart of what they’re trying to say. Whether you’re in the early stages of a script or deep into prep as a director, I offer thoughtful, tangible feedback to support your creative vision and push your project to the next stage.
For writers, I provide story and script consultation focused on theme, structure, character development, and emotional clarity — always with the goal of sharpening your voice and intention on the page.
For directors, I offer one-on-one guidance on translating the script to screen. This includes support with shot listing, visual storytelling, connecting to the thematic core of your project, and working through personal blocks or blind spots that may be getting in the way of your strongest work.
Whether you're refining a draft or prepping for set, I meet you where you're at and offer tools to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
